For our second year of the Best of the Best Pharmacy Awards, we wanted to increase the number of nominations and winners in the program and spend more time on planning and execution. Using feedback from our 2019 postmortem, I created a project timeline that began in March 2020.
As the Director of Content Marketing at SingleCare, I managed the overall project and deadlines. Our design team created an updated logo and branding for Best of the Best, and we began a more rigorous marketing push for nominations.
The COVID-19 crisis did alter our initial timeline, but we were able to launch on time while increasing the impact of the program by recognizing the work pharmacy employees had done throughout the pandemic.
Year over year, we saw a 900% increase in nominations and selected 15 winners. After the winners were announced on Oct. 1, 2020, we received double the number of press clips from 2019.
