During graduate school at the University of Missouri, I worked at Vox Magazine, a weekly city magazine that is part of the city’s newspaper, The Missourian. I served as a back of book editor, but for the Budget Travel issue in March 2011, I was the special issue editor. I conceptualized, assigned, and edited the entire 24-page issue.
