As the Director of Content Marketing at SingleCare, I was responsible for creating a tentpole program for the brand. The goal of the marketing event was to reach and engage both consumers and pharmacy professionals. After team brainstorming and competitor research, we decided on the Best of the Best Pharmacy Awards program to honor pharmacies in local communities throughout the U.S.

We wanted to launch the inaugural awards in October, which is National Pharmacist Month, so that gave us only three months to plan and execute the program. In that time, we encouraged SingleCare’s customers to nominate their favorite pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Using those nominations, SingleCare’s Editorial Board identified the most noteworthy professionals, interviewed them, and arranged photographers for each location.

For the 2019 awards—our first year—we received hundreds of nominations and selected 11 winners.
