I am a creative thinker with excellent communication and collaboration skills. While brand growth is always top of mind, I also know the value of modeling a positive work environment for my team.

No matter the project, I take ownership in the work that I do—it's important for me to see results and exceed goals. After more than a decade in print and digital media, I've leveraged my editorial skills in content marketing roles. My strengths in strategic planning and leadership have allowed me to implement initiatives that drive brand growth while fostering a healthy team culture.

Prior to content marketing work, I served as managing editor of Grok Nation, a lifestyle site by actress Mayim Bialik, and as an editor of Entertainment Weekly. I'm incredibly passionate about entertainment content and continue to freelance for sites like TVGuide.com and Tudum by Netflix. My work at EW was predominantly digital, but before that, I worked at Niche Media, where I served as a copy editor on Gotham, Hamptons, and Michigan Avenue magazines. I wrote home decor, art, and food and drink articles for the luxury print titles as well.

I received my master's in magazine journalism from the University of Missouri and my bachelor's degree in mass communications/journalism from Southern Nazarene University in my home state of Oklahoma. My education gave me a strong foundation in writing and editing, and my experience living abroad—I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Suriname, South America, and taught English in South Korea—has helped me understand how to foster positive working relationships, no matter the setting.
