I developed a migraine education content program spanning a dedicated website hub, three downloadable resources, and a presentation deck with facilitator talking points—designed to support employer education and real-world workplace conversations.
Project overview
This project supported a migraine education initiative aimed at helping employers and employees better understand migraine symptoms, accommodations, and benefits-related conversations. The challenge was to translate clinical, workplace, and policy-informed guidance into content that felt clear, usable, and non-intimidating—while remaining accurate and credible.
In addition to writing the website and downloadable resources, I developed a presentation slide deck with structured talking points to support live employer education sessions delivered via Zoom.
Scope & responsibilities
- Wrote educational website copy for a centralized migraine resource hub
- Developed copy for three distinct downloadable resources
- Created a presentation slide deck and facilitator talking points for live employer sessions
- Translated clinical, benefits, and workplace guidance into plain-language content
- Structured content for clarity, scannability, and real-world application
- Ensured consistency in tone, terminology, and guidance across web, PDF, and presentation formats
Strategic approach
- Audience-aware design: Built resources to support multiple audiences—employees, employers, HR teams, and facilitators
- Health literacy–driven: Prioritized accessibility and clarity for non-clinical audiences without oversimplifying
- Modular content system: Designed assets to work independently or together, depending on audience needs
- Live-use readiness: Structured PDFs and slides to support real-time discussion, not just passive reading
Program context
The downloadable resources and presentation materials were used in live employer-facing Zoom sessions led by Health Action Alliance, in collaboration with Pfizer, as part of a broader effort to support workplace health education.
